Megan is a writer originally from North London, now based in Buckinghamshire.
She was the winner of the Sterts One Act Play Festival 2019, taking home both the prize for ‘Best play by a writer under 30’ and the overall competition winner for WORSE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED AT SEAWORLD.
Her play TELO was longlisted for both the BBC Scriptroom 10 and the Verity Bargate Award 2017 and was subsequently performed at the RADA Festival 2017. Excerpts have been performed in several new writing festivals at venues such as the White Bear; The Lion and Unicorn; and the Space Theatre.
Her play HOMO SUPERIOR (now re-named PRETTY THINGS) was longlisted in the BBC Scriptroom Drama 2018, reaching the top 3.4% of 3845 submissions. It was shortlisted for the Theatre Royal Haymarket’s Masterclass ‘Pitch Your Play 2018’, reaching the final six plays. PRETTY THINGS received Arts Council Funding for a Research and Development week with the company Astraea Productions, culminating in a performance at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester in May 2022.
Megan trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, gaining her Masters in Writing For Stage and Broadcast Media.
